Wandsworth Riverside, a residential development with a special design requirement and a unique solution.
The fan coils on this contract could only be 225 deep because that is all the height that was available. The problem then was, at that depth, the condensate drains did not have sufficient fall.
Reducing the unit height to suit was not the answer because the duties would not have been met by the slimmer unit air volumes. The answer was a hybrid unit.
This unit had the fan and plenum section of the deeper Atlas range with the coil and condensate arrangements of the slimmer Apollo range.
This together with a shortened unit was the one solution that performed as required while at the same time fitting the limited space available.
